Jungian Group: Burnout
Online

Burnout is a debilitating condition that is affecting more and more people. The approaches most commonly offered often fall short of truly reaching its depth. A Jungian perspective invites us to look more closely at burnout, understanding that when it brings life as we know it to a standstill, it is also calling us toward meaningful transformation. Healing becomes possible when we engage symbolically with the difficult inner landscape it creates, allowing its deeper messages to be recognized, worked with, and ultimately integrated.
This group offers a safe, judgment-free space for those experiencing burnout, as well as for individuals supporting a loved one, patient, or client who is going through it.
“We should not try to 'get rid' of a neurosis, but rather to experience what it means, what it has to teach, what its purpose is... A neurosis is truly removed only when it has removed the false attitude of the ego. We do not cure it– it cures us. A man is ill, but the illness is nature's attempt to heal him. From the illness itself we can learn so much for our recovery, and what the neurotic flings away as absolutely worthless contains the true gold we should never have found elsewhere.”– C.G. Jung, Civilization in Transition, CW 10.
