- Reimagining Caregiving Through a Jungian Lens
- “Jungian Psychology and Caregiving” is the opening session of the online course The Inner World of Caregiving. You can explore full course details on the course page.
Caregiving isn’t just something we do—it transforms us. Through a Jungian lens, it can be seen as a pivotal experience, connecting us to the unknown, repressed, forgotten parts of our psyche.
Caregiving is archetypal; it is an experience we can all relate to—regardless of whether we are parents or have cared for someone.
In this session, participants are invited to explore their caregiving role symbolically, viewing it as part of their larger life story.
Together, we’ll explore:
What is Jungian psychology, and how does it differ from other approaches?
What does the caregiving journey reveal when explored through the lens of Jungian psychology?
How can it support and deepen our experience as caregivers?
How caregiving can become a path of individuation, meaning-making, and greater self-awareness?
