Jungian Group for Caregivers

Online

Caregiving is a role that touches many people and can be manifested in different ways, such as caring for a partner with cancer, a child with a rare disease, a sibling with addiction, or an elder parent. It is a demanding and emotionally exhausting activity that significantly impacts the life of a caregiver. Studies confirm that the more time we spend on caregiving, the more our well-being suffers. Regardless of age, gender, or workload,  caregivers face similar challenges across various contexts.

How we navigate our caregiver role is crucial for our physical and mental well-being. There is a growing awareness of self-care practices and the importance of setting boundaries; however, this role takes us deeper and stirs our most unconscious patterns. Thus, regardless of how comprehensive our self-care routines may be, we can not escape the psychological impact associated with the caregiver role.

This group provides a safe and judgment-free space for caregivers to express their challenging emotions, uncover their unconscious beliefs, and reflect on their roles as caregivers.

Jung stated, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.”

Therefore, it is our responsibility to become more aware of the dynamics of our caregiving role, enabling us to monitor it – rather than allowing it to control us.

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.
